The Bounty Desk

About the Desk

Howdy — I'm Alex, and this is my website. The Bounty Desk is a small experiment of mine: I have a handful of jobs I'd genuinely like done, and I'm willing to pay a fair reward to get exactly what I asked for. Rather than chase freelancers one by one, I'm trying the bounty model — post the job, name the price, and let whoever's up for it ride in and take a swing.

The whole idea: done as asked beats done "well." A turn-in wins if it satisfies the description — judged against the spec, not anyone's taste. Ask for "a beautiful logo for my business" and a hand-drawn two-minute one counts, because "beautiful" is subjective and it was made for your business. So the skill here is writing a spec precise enough that "exactly as asked" is what you wanted.

So this is two things at once: a place where you can actually earn a reward for solving one of my problems, and a test of whether the bounty idea works well enough to open up to other people posting their own jobs.
